Watercolour + Graphite on hot pressed paper
Some days call for curling up on the sofa with a blanket, a pad of paper and a travel watercolour kit. The limited resources at hand creates a different perspective on how to tackle the design.
For example, there is a single, tiny waterbrush with the kit, no paper towel, and just some synthetic sponges for cleaning off the brush, or removing excess water. The tip of the brush has a tendency to stay wetter than I’d like, working on a small scale - so that I have to deal with puddles where I might prefer some control.
That said, it’s a wonderful way to break out of the winter blahs and give creativity a nudge.
