Lonely Winter Scene

There is a park bench across from our Cultural Centre here in Chatham that I pass by about twice a week. I never really noticed it before, until all the leaves fell off the tree beside it. Now I can't help but admire the scene every time I pass it. My intent with this subject matter is to paint a much larger piece, but right now I've sketched out the idea in an ACEO, adding ink and removing the background clutter that was in the original photo I took.

This is a nice painting. Love the tree images in the background and the wet-on-wet of the shrubs at the fenceline. This is a very nice post.
