I was giving my Dad a 2-minute lesson in watercolor today and this was the first thing that came to mind. I didn't have anything on my painting table to draw from, so I had to think up something fast to demonstrate possible lighting situations and techniques. For my painting surface, I used the acid-free matte board that my local framer Jim gives me (I like to think of it as the "donut hole" - or "Timbit" - of a matte)

I wonder if that says anything about me?
